Our move to Kentucky has brought along some interesting signs you would not see in Southern California:
In a grocery store:
"According to state regulations, you may not purchase alcoholic beverages until after 1 p.m. on Sundays."
In an airport and some public buildings:
"Tornado Shelter" or ""Storm Shelter"
At many dining establishments:
"Closed on Sunday"
We especially appreciate those small independent businesses that want to protect their employee's time. We know that many do not attend church on Sunday, but at least their work doesn't keep them from getting there.
